Been wanting to come to this place for a very long time and finally managed to! We sat outside space and it was a nice alfresco atmosphere. The servers were really friendly. Each dish was done elegantly and gentle enough to not kill the flavours of the fish but to have some impacts - we especially loved the seaweed crisps, clams, both main course dishes were cooked to absolute perfection.
Cosy, neat seafood restaurant with a changing menu. Prices are reasonable given location and artisanal nature of the menu. The food is superb! Rich, tasty and filling. On our visit, superb monkfish tail on a bed of creamy cabbage. Beautifully cooked and presented. Try the dauphinois with fennel for a gut busting creamy treat. Friendly service covering a busy restaurant. The cloakroom is a quirky feature too!
Beware if you’re seated in the far left corner! We felt that we wouldn’t be served well because of it when we given seats there and it was true. Unfortunately it felt like our waitress forgot about us. We had to prompt the servers to ask to order, to get the cheque… everything! Because of that everything took so long and there wasn’t a single apology/acknowledgement that we had been waiting for so long. This is not a venue that will pour your wine when your glass gets or re-fill your water (although you can expect that at other similarly priced London restaurants).
Fortunately food was delicious and it came out soon after we ordered. The croquettes were excellent and the crab devilled eggs were delicious too. The cod cheeks were fine but the Asian spices overpowered the flavour of the fish. We loved the cheesy cauliflower! The wine selection is good!
The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice and cute but I believe it is better suited as a lunch venue as opposed to dinner because the interior lights are quite bright at night (e.g. lack of ambiance).
Absolutely phenomenal food!! Everything was super fresh and just so tasty and beautifully presented. You’d not think this place is as stunning as it is, as it’s so simple. Fabulous restaurant.
We had a lovely lunch at Parsons! We started with some oysters and end up with a whole lemon sole. It was delicious! The service was very good and the Riesling even better.
A charming and intimate seafood restaurant located in Covent Garden. I was impressed by their daily changing menu, a good sign for a seafood restaurant 🦞🦪
We started with two types of oysters for an appetizer, along with a glass of champagne. Unfortunately, my luck with oysters and their shells seems to be a recurring theme, as I found some shell fragments in them, although I’ve experienced this at other places as well.
We also enjoyed dishes like shrimp croquettes and clams, but the standout was the perfectly seared scallop paired with a divine white truffle sauce.
The service, while friendly, was a bit inattentive; it might have been due to the post-lunch rush.
Considering the quality of the seafood and the area, the prices were quite reasonable.
I would give a 4,5 stars out of 5.
PS: A smart way to utilize space is by hanging the jacket in height.🌟
Had a delicious early birthday meal here with family. Sat outside. Nice service, potentially slightly pretentious but friendly. Shared a few starters - crab devilled egg thing, croquettes BUT the stand out dish was the bread (think called Guinness bread but not 100%) - whatever it was, most delicious bread I’ve EVER had. I would honestly come back and just have that haha. I had a smaller plate (crispy cod cheeks) with side of chips and the tomato salad. It was big enough for a main with the starter (and bread obvs). Others had the lobster, halibut, mussels. All went down very well. Dessert didn’t take my fancy, I really fancied a cocktail dessert so would suggest adding an espresso martini to the menu 😋 but others had the cheese and said it was delicious. Really nice place, not cheap but felt you got what you paid for! It’s super small so be sure to book in advance.
Nice cute restaurant in Covent Garden for a quiet meal. The atmosphere in the restaurant was not espectacular but this isn’t the main reason you come to this restaurant. The service was very good and the food was good too. I must say that the starters were better than the actual mains which were slightly unremarkable in my opinion. Still this might be one of the restaurants in London that has a good fish offer.
